What is Alliance Trust Asset Management?

Alliance Trust Asset Management Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Alliance Trust PLC. 'Alliance Trust' and 'alliancetrust' are the brand names of Alliance Trust PLC and its subsidiaries.

Alliance Trust Asset Management Limited is the Authorized Corporate Director and Operator of the Alliance Trust Investment Funds ICVC, an Open-Ended Investment Company. 3.2 Compensation

Alliance Trust Asset Management Limited is covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, which means if we become insolvent, you may be entitled to compensation. The level of compensation will depend on the type of business and the circumstances of your claim. Investments are covered for 100% of the first £30,000 and 90% of the next £20,000, so the maximum compensation is £48,000.

4 Anti-money laundering

Alliance Trust Asset Management must adhere to anti-money laundering legislation. This requires us to carry out identity verification checks. If we cannot adequately verify your or your client's identification in accordance with the legislation, we reserve the right to refuse the investment. If the funds are invested prior to the identity checks being carried out, we will not release the proceeds until we receive adequate verification of your or your client's identity.
