Important Note - Alliance Trust Investment Funds No 2 (Formerly Premier Alliance Trust Investment Funds) With effect from 1 October 2010 Premier Portfolio Managers Limited retired as Authorised Corporate Director ("ACD") of the company and Alliance Trust Asset Management Limited was appointed as ACD. The name of the company and its sub-funds were amended with effect from the same date to remove reference to "Premier" to reflect the change of ACD. Under the terms of two Schemes of Arrangement (The "Schemes"), shareholdings in The Alliance Trust Asia-Pacific Equity Fund no 2 and The Alliance Trust Japan Equity Fund no 2 were exchanged for shareholdings in two new funds operated by the ACD - Alliance Trust Asia-Pacific Equity Fund and Alliance Trust Japan Equity Fund. Following the approval of the schemes by shareholders, Alliance Trust Asset Management Limited, as ACD, has commenced termination of Alliance Trust Investment Funds No 2 and accordingly all shares in issue in these funds have been cancelled. Further, as these Funds have commenced termination no new shares will be issued by the ACD.
