AT Asset Management (Asia-Pacific) Limited believes it is ideally positioned to harness the exciting investment opportunities that the Asia-Pacific region offers. Utilising the experience and expertise of its local investment team, AT Asset Management (Asia-Pacific) Limited has direct access to the region, making investment decisions "on-the-ground" from its offices in Hong Kong. Led by Anthony Muh, the tightly-knit investment team is currently made up of four fund managers and two analysts, who collectively have 79 years of investment management experience. John Chung Lee manages the Premier Alliance Trust Asia-Pacific Equity Fund, while Anthony Muh manages the Premier Alliance Trust Japan Equity Fund assisted by Jay Newman.

Anthony Muh, Anthony Muh, the CEO of AT Asset Management, joined Alliance Trust as Head of Asia Pacific in April 2005. Anthony was formerly Regional Head of Investment - Asia and Japan at Citigroup Asset Management, a company formed through the merger of three asset management companies of Salomon Brothers Asset Management, Smith Barney Asset Management and Citicorp Investment Management. During this period he successfully merged the various investment functions and built a number of asset management businesses around the region. He was a member of the International Asset Management Committee and Citigroup's Hong Kong Country Board. Before then, Anthony was Chief Investment Officer for Citibank Global Asset Management in Asia and New Zealand. He also spent seven years with Bank of New Zealand Investment Management. Anthony is a board member and a Fellow of the Hong Kong Securities Institute. He is a past Chairman and a Fellow of the New Zealand Society of Investment Analysts and a past Committee Member of the Asian Securities Analyst Federation. He had also served on the executive committee of the HK Investment Funds Association (HK IFA) and is a past member of the Cash Market Consultative Panel for Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited. He is also currently a board member of the Asian Corporate Governance Association.

Tathagata Guha Roy, Head of Asian Equities and Senior Portfolio Manager, is responsible for all equity investments in the Asia Pacific region. Tathagata has over 15 years' experience in investment. Before joining Alliance Trust in August 2005, he was Head of Equity and Balanced Investments - Asia for Citigroup Asset Management. Prior to that, he worked with Koeneman Capital Management in Singapore , as well as SBI Funds Management in Mumbai, managing one of their flagship equity funds. He joined the investment management industry in 1991 with Y.K. Capital Trust in New Delhi . As well as being a Chartered Financial Analyst, he is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Management Accountant.




Jay Newman joined Alliance Trust in March 2007 as Senior Portfolio Manager, to spear-head the management of global multi-asset class products. He has 25 years' experience in investment and banking in Asia, Europe and the US, including the management of global balanced products for Citigroup Asset Management from 1998 through early 2004. Jay also managed Asian funds (both equity and multi-asset class) for Citigroup Asset Management's predecessor, Salomon Brothers Asset Management as well as for Doric Capital, both from a base in Hong Kong. Prior to joining the fund management industry in 1998, Jay worked as a banker for Citibank in New York and Banque Paribas in Taipei, and as an Asian equities and convertible bond specialist for BZW in London. Jay has a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University in New York and a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) from University of Texas in Austin. He speaks Mandarin Chinese and lived in Mainland China and Taiwan for seven years.





John Chung Lee joined Alliance Trust as Portfolio Manager in October 2007, with 13 years of experience in trading and investment management. Before joining Alliance Trust, John worked as Director and Co-Head of Investments at Pacific Capital - Newmount Investment Management, managing absolute return Asian equity funds. John was previously Head of Alternative Strategies at KE Absolute specializing in hedge fund trading opportunities. Prior to that, John worked at ALCA Capital on US equity hedge fund and was also a derivatives trader at Bankers Trust Global Emerging Markets division in New York where he made investment and risk management decisions for a multicurrency fixed income and FX portfolio. John holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Yale University. John is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
