Investment Analyst (Management Trainee 2007, Internship 2005)

After a positive internship experience in 2005, I decided to apply for the Company’s formal Management Training Programme. After successfully joining the Company in November 2007, I was again privy to a wide array of work in key business areas, gaining exposure to staff at all levels.

On completion of the programme I joined our Investment department as an Analyst. I currently operate on our UK desk and am working towards a CFA designation. The work is varied and interesting and I am given ample support which is key at this stage in my career development.

There is a very active social aspect to working at Alliance Trust which I have personally enjoyed participating in. I have been involved in ski holidays, social and sporting events and completed the 54 mile Caledonian Challenge in the summer of 2008 as part of the Company team.
