Rob Burgess appointed Managing Director, Alliance Trust SavingsAlliance Trust PLC has appointed Rob Burgess as Managing Director of Alliance Trust Savings, its financial services subsidiary. Rob brings extensive retail financial services experience to Alliance Trust Savings.
He has previously managed the retail and business banking sectors of Lloyds TSB Scotland and subsequently was regional director for its retail banking business in London and the South East.
Between these roles he was Strategic Future Business Programme Director for Lloyds TSB's subsidiary, Scottish Widows. More recently he was Executive Director, Sales and Distribution, for Thomas Cook UK.
