Alliance Trust comes second in the Discovery ProAm Golf Competition
On 4th September 2008, the 7th Discovery ProAm Golf Competition took place at Downfield Golf Course in Dundee. The Alliance Trust team consisting of Tommy Burns, Colin Burchell and Kris Nicol came second with a score of 19 under par.
Each team was made up of 3 amateur players and 1 professional. Our team was joined by caddie Sharon and Pro Paul McKechnie who came joint 44th in the Johnnie Walker Championship this year and is now at qualifying school for the European tour.
The event raised over £6,000 for Dundee Heritage Trust.
