investment company, Alliance Trust PLC, announces the appointment of Fiona MacRae
as its new Head of European Equities. Fiona joins today on Monday 20th
October with over 20 years of experience managing European large, mid and small
cap equities.

Fiona
was previously Pan European Equity Investment Manager at boutique asset
management company, Kempen Capital Management, for three years, where she
specialised in small and mid-cap equities and ran key SRI products, managing
around 200m Euros in Pan European equities. Prior to this, she was at Scottish
Widows for 19 years initially as Investment Manager before being promoted to
Investment Director and was part of one of the top performing
Alliance
Trust PLC manages more than £2.6bn of assets, as at 31 July. Around 75% of net
assets were invested in quoted equities and 13.5% of its quoted equity
investments were in European (ex-UK) equities.
